A professional top coat goes over every decal to seal the edges and extend wear. For gel services we use a UV-cured gel top coat. For regular polish we use a high-gloss air-dry top coat. Either way, the decal is locked in.
Nail decals have to be sealed correctly in South Florida. Humidity affects how top coats cure and how edges hold. We use professional gel top coats that are formulated for tropical climates and cure under UV light rather than air-drying in ambient humidity.
